Countdown To Freedom

But I still can't smell the sweet scent of freedom
8 more days to go,Sha,just 8 more days
Addmaths is over,thank God
I went into full concentration mode yesterday
Pagi study addmaths
Tengahhari study addmaths
Petang tuition addmaths 530pm-7pm
Malam tuition addmaths AGAIN 8pm-10pm
Waa slept over at my house and we did somemore studying till 12am and went to sleep
Woke up at 330am,made some coffee and studied a bit
Went back to sleep,woke up 7am
So,if I don't pass,it'll be a very,very miserable day for me
Battle began at 750am,recited a number of prayers before I answered a question and berzikir a bit (no joke)
Twas okay,PJ on the other hand,was effing stupid -.-
Anyhoo,tomorrow's our Physics paper
We only have the 2 earliest chapters coming out for the final exam hehe
And then,time it'll be time to focus on Biology,Chemistry,Mathematics,History and Islamic Studies

Although,I've a feeling I'll come online if I've no important papers that day

Installation

That's Man with a cup in his tshirt (it looks like a flashlight though) while asking Syakir to bite "it" ahahahahaha

Yesterday was SMKTTDI's Prefect's Convention but unfortunately only three schools came,Sri Hartamas,Damansara Utama and Sri Pantai
Ruiz and I were the emcees,and I was pretty nervous eventhough this was the second time
Woke up pretty late that morning,so I rushed to school and up the stairs to the hall
So practiced a bit with the microphone and Hafiz kept on staring at me because FYI,I get anxious when people stare at me
And after I told them that,semua cakap "Everyone's gonna stare at you later pun"
And my stomach did this flip-flop and I instantly wanted to barf hahaha
Went downstairs to the Pendaftaran counter where I saw Zara and Elisha
Lamaaa gila tak jumpa!Well,I often bump into Zara in One Utama but I havent seen Elisha since standard 6 man,and she's grown taller
Anyhoo,the event started after breakfast around 8am
Whilst I was talking on stage and surveying the crowd,one guy caught my eye
Aiyo,I never knew a guy could look so cuuuuuute in a prefect uniform
But after the ceramah started,I was starting to get a really,really bad tummy ache
Soo,I told Pn Hanizah that I really had to go home because I've NEVER EVER went to the school toilet
And she laughed and told me to hurry up
Called Ayah who picked me up and went home for awhile
By the time I was in school again,the first person I saw was Ruiz
So I shouted at him to wait for me and when he saw me,he did this squating pose -.-
Somehow,most of them knew WHY i went home for awhile hahaha
Got back in time to announce the performance and stuff
Games were hilarious and Raidah and I took on the responsibilty of technical people
And then Sri Hartamas had to go home which also meant cute braceface had to go too :-(
So,the base-to-base activity continued and I was stationed at the canteen with Waa
Perfect place though,while everyone else's base was outdoors and under the hot sun,
Waa and I ate some and lied down on the benches while waiting for the teams to arrive
After the fourth team was done,Waa was starting to feel sick so she left me in charge
Then Mann and Syakir and Flab kept me company
Ya Rabbi,Mann Mann hahahahahaha
He started cracking dirty jokes and Syakir was laughing so hard he couldn't open his eyes
And I was laughing so hard I thought I was going to burst my spleen
Then Mann started to sing that Kylie Minouge song
"Come on dance with me,YEAH" which he exxagerated and made disturbing sounds
And made up his own lyric,Come On And Stick To My Body,Yeah
Hahahaha whaaaatttt
So,we calmed down a bit and talked about more rasional things
Although when Mann picked up the bag of lemang and rendang infront of us and raised it up,
Syakir and I were expecting a stupid joke from him but all he did was put it back down and stared at us
Somehow,THAT was funny too
And and there was this bapok prefect whom we shall name Abang I
Syak,Mann and Flapp called him to our table and told him I liked him and stuff
And that I wanted his number,the nerve of him though,because he actually punched in his digits
While Abang I was pretending to be macho,I on the other hand,was laughing my ass off
Yeah,kurang ajar but so what?Syakir dah buat bunyi tahan gelak dia and Man was blowing into a cup
So after the prize-giving ceremony,everybody left
While we were all sitting backstage,Syakir and Buj came in and said Abang I hugged them

So,he told his class,Beta,about this game and most of them spent a lot of time trying to figure it out
Once all of them finally did,they tested it on us Alpharians yesterday
As expected,we were screaming and banging on tables and ready to tear our hair out trying to figure this BOLE KE TAK game
I even sat one corner,all sour-faced,trying to figure it out and ready to slap the next person who gave me the same "Sha,ni boleh?" question while Betarians tried to mess with other people's minds hahaha
Today,however,us Alpha people sat in a circle during English (got a "well-described and enjoyable essay" from Pn Mazliza,hehe thank you teacher xoxo)
Nad asked us over and over again as she found out the so called "code word" earlier that day
There we were,Byron,Amir,Mann,Acap,Ruiz and I,concentrating very hard and one by one,we finally found out the catch to this game.Plus,lots of shhhhs from our teacher after we screamed and laughed and jumped Hahaha eh,this thing really eats you up lah wei!
Byron was the last to get it,poor guy but once he did though,macam lunatic 0_0
Then,three other games were put to the test

Although!Eunice was the first one to discover the World thingie and told Mahirah who in turned told Munirah,who's in Beta
SO TECHNICALLY,its ALPHA's GAME hahaha
Anyhoo,once I found out all the catch to these games,I was on a roll

Cakap the Betarians were pissed off that we Alpharians found out about their games

We had FOUR periods of Biology after recess and after being handed out the test papers (macam ****)

The Little Shop of Horrors

I'm in way over my head.The much dreaded finals are a week away
And I haven't started studying properly yet (!)
To top it all of,results for my September test sucked,and its a test (a test!)
Apa lagi finals?I can't go on like this,lazy and studying without a proper time table
SPM's next year and I can't even pass my tests.
All thanks to a year filled with hanging around here and there while my books were left to collect dust in a corner.

Skinny Jeans for Skinny People

Stop the criticism.Really,just stop it.
I'm sick and tired of having to hear people criticize my body and having to repeat myself every time,saying I've a high metabolism
I don't understand why some people go all out just to have a perfect size 2 body
I don't understand why they can't be comfortable in their own skin and quit criticizing mine!
Yes,okay.I'm skinny,I barely weigh over 45kg and my arms are like toothpicks.
I don't eat much at times but that doesn't mean I'm bulimic
I don't have an awesome figure but that doesn't mean I'm anorexic
And you say don't judge a book by its cover?How stereotypical can a person be?
Don't you understand?!I actually really,absolutely,want to put on more weight
I'd kill to weigh at least 45kg rather than my 39 kg (I lost one kg over ramadhan)
The parents have been observing what's on my plate and how much of it goes into my mouth
Which to me,is highly unnecessary
They've even considered entering me into a weight-gain program
Making me feel more conscious and aware of my thin figure
The one thing,however,that will never fail to piss me off is when people remind me that I wasn't "blessed" with B cup boobs
That's called stating the obvious and its very well annoying
I'd love to give this long lecture but I can't postpone my date with Electromagnets and Tamadun Islam or something like that,xxx

Metrosexual

By far the most hectic day this week,no joke
My sleeping pattern has been spiraling out of control as of late
At 130am yesterday (or today,technically speaking) Yan called and told me to meet him outside my house
Talked until 230am or so,I miss the midget a whole lot
Yan drives,holy crap.I find this amusing because,Goddamit it's Yan hahahaha
Went back in and tried to sleep but called Ijat soon after around 3am
Freaked me out for a solid two hours,that loser
In the morning,Dad and I drove back to Seremban for a few open houses,one after the other
Let's just say,I could survive for probably 2 days without eating
The drive back to KL was horrid,the jam was horrible,terrible.
Got back just in time for Ilya's open house at 3pm
Was the early bird,so makan-makan till Hilmi came and he rarely eats "melayu food"
So we had to teach him how to eat roti jala and soto hahaha
The rest came around 5pm and Hilmi was the only homme
What else,we bullied him so bad but I'm sure he liked the attention
Lisa,Eijas and Amirul came around 8pm,maybe,I think
Ate some more and went up to Ilya's room
Did this and that and Lisa sent Jas and Mirul somewhere and came back
The only ones left were Frsha,Lisa and I aaaand ingat nak tag along to Rasta with them
But Mothers,you know them
I think I'll go annoy Ijat now,xxx

Eid Mubarak

Day One-Mum's side

Sent the Raya message to everyone in my contacts list,I'm not sure if everyone got it though
Because from RM10 credit,I was left with 57 cents by the time it reached the letter M
First day of Raya has always been spent at Maktok's house here,in KL
I helped Mum and Tante Rina cook rendang the night before (haha i know,right,i couldn't even boil water until Nurul taught me haha) but retreated to Atok's room soon after.I wasn't going to stay up till 3am like my sisters have every year.
Woke up the next morning with a bad migrane and a cold but managed to take a bath and put on my pretty kebaya (i must say so myself)
Downstairs,half of the cousins were already there,eagerly waiting for the adults to pass out the duit raya.
But we had to be patient,duit raya is given out only when the adults are leaving the house
Opah's house was literally packed with relatives.Mind you,I've tons of cousins,tons
Kak Sherina came with baby Suri,so adorable !
Abang Hattan's daughter,Adriana came too,with her mini kebaya nyonya.Her mum's an Indonesian so Adriana speaks Malay with a thick Indonesian accent.
I've watched plenty Indonesian movies and series so imagine me,oh-so-mesmerized by this 3 year-old speaking to me,using every Indonesian slang I've heard of on telly hahaha.
Taking the family photograph was a hassle because we shot the pictures in the garden.
I was chased by a bee,stumbling and teetering on my high heels while Nana said it was because bees like people who seldom bathe.
EXCUSE ME!I bathe 3 times a day,morning,noon and evening.
At night,Iman and Ayeej came.Ah,he's so adorable and he runs fast,too fast for me to catch up with him.Like a mini Ussein Bolt (correct me on this one)
You could say I mostly entertain the younger cousins and nieces and nephews.
Mainly because they wouldn't make fun of me if I sneeze and sniffle and cough and wheeze while pretending to act all feminine HA-HA

Day Two-Dad's Side

Dad dragged us out of bed around 6am and said we could take a bath once we reach Kuala Pilah,Negeri Sembilan (hahah,and we did!)
Because of the massive traffic dreadlock,it took us four hours to actually reach Negri Sembilan
and Ayah was laughing hysterically at this BMW for God knows what reason throughout the whole journey
On Ayah's side,most of my cousins are married and have kids of their own so Raya's not as fun as it used to be
Ate and took pictures at what Mak Ngah called "the antique stairs" because its been there for almost a hundred years,yes yes.
Half of the kampung house has been demolished and renovated,rumah batu
Which is pretty good,considering I used to walk on tiptoes
But the upper part of our kampung house is still made of kayu because Arwah Wan wanted that to be preserved
Lined up for the anticipated duit raya from Mak Lang,she gives the most hahaha
Everyone was upstairs and I was the only one left watching telly in the living room
Lying down,with only the top part of my baju kurung I don't think it was what visitors would want to be greeted by HAHA
But then,this group of kids came running in through the main gate,shouting Selamat Hari Raya
and needless to say,I was shocked
Made the routine rounds to people's houses,like Ayah's ex-lead guitaris (mind you,dad had a band,i've got pictures and electric Fender guitars to prove it haha)
Anyhooo,reached home Friday morning tired and satisfied with the money we received
